The Gordon Richardson Townsville Open Tournament 2010 was held in the TTTA hall on the 12 – 14 June weekend.

Top Australian Ranked Players attended from Melbourne plus other high level players coming from Cairns, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Mackay and Rockhampton.

A mixture of Junior and Senior players put up a challenge for their opponents. Local Townsville players welcomed the high level of performance from our visitors.

The ranked players from melbourne were : William Henzell, David Powell, Jian Fang Lay and Miao Miao. They displayed their table tennis skills and sportmanship.

Our locals Max Wellington, David Fielding, Luke Blucher, Sean Chun Tie, Brett Sprunt, Mark Patane, Nina Zuchowski, Walter Parkes, John Sherriff also put on a good show for the spectators.

Visitors Rhys Thomas (Gold Coast), Matthew Pettet (Rocky) , Paul , Hong, Eugene, Arron, Thomas from Cairns did well also.
