Table tennis in Townsville is becoming more popular within the local community due to

weekend tournaments being held at our club hall on Charters Towers Road in Hermit Park.

Invited world ranked players have participated in the matches providing local players some challenge.

Paul Pinkewich, Bruno Levis and Joel Coughlan recently visited Townsville for our Battle 2 match.

People are learning that the game is easy to learn, out of the sun and everyone can play of various age groups.

Head Coach and Business Development Manager, Gary Walmsley is doing a tremendous job developing our junior players.

Young girls and boys are having fun and getting fit learning table tennis. Hand – eye coordination, flexibility and mental concentration

are some skills gained from the game. New friends and social interaction in a sun safe environment is great for kids.

We are hosting the 2012 Qld Junior Championships at our club hall in 24 June – 29 June. Spectators are welcome to support local players and see some table tennis action.
