We are pleased to announce that there have been an overwhelming number of entries for this year’s Townsville Open. The number of participants exceeds 80 players, many of which are participating in a number of different events. Because of this there was a necessity to alter the draft event timetable that was included with the entry form. There are also 2 events that will now be held on Monday, 25 April 2016. The event timetable is above.
There is 1 group only for the under 18 and 21 singles. In all other events, the number of participants who will advance from the groups to the knock-out finals is largely dependent on the number of participants in that event and the size of the groups. The number of participants who will advance from the groups to the knock-out finals is shown in red brackets in the event timetable below.
