The calendar assists everyone in structuring their playing year and gives certainty as to dates for both the fixture seasons and tournaments.

2024 Townsville Major Events
Get Active Expo: Townsville Stadium, Annandale: Sunday, 11 February 2024
The Get Active Expo will be held at the Townsville Stadium in Annandale on Sunday, 11 February 2024.
Our Club will have a table set up during the Get Active Expo.
The Get Active Expo will run from 9 am to 2 pm.
Chinese New Year Tournament: Townsville Table Tennis (60 Charters Towers Road): Saturday, 10 February 2024
The 2024 Chinese New Year Tournament will be held on Saturday, 10 February 2024 commencing at 10am.
This tournament celebrates the Chinese New Year and is open for all players to participate.

Come N Try Day: Townsville Table Tennis (60 Charters Towers Road): Saturday, 20 January 2024 and Saturday, 17 February 2024
The Club will be conducting a ‘Come N Try’ Day on Saturday, 20 January 2024 and Saturday, 17 February 2024.
This will operate from 10 am until 3 pm and will not effect usual Club operations.
Everyone is welcome to attend. Bring your children, grandchildren, friends, family or anyone else down to our hall for some free, friendly table tennis!
Townsville International Women’s Day Tournament : Townsville Table Tennis (60 Charters Towers Road): Saturday, 9 March and Sunday, 10 March 2024
This year’s International Women’s Day Tournament and Training Camp will be held on Saturday, 9 March and Sunday, 10 March 2024.
International Women’s Day is a global day to celebrate the achievements of women and to raise awareness about women’s equality. It is also a day to promote the growth and development of women in sport. What better way to do that than with a table tennis tournament!
The format will be similar to previous years. There will be a training session, junior event and main event on the Saturday. On Sunday there will be a tournament open for everyone.
Catering packages for the Saturday are available. Those who have attended before know that the quality and quantity of food at this event is not to be missed! Our members can also provide free accommodation and travel to the hall for anyone travelling to Townsville.

Townsville Open Championships: Townsville Table Tennis (60 Charters Towers Road): Saturday, 4 May to Monday, 6 May 2024 (Labour Day long weekend)
The Townsville Open Championships will be held in Townsville from Saturday, 4 May to Monday, 6 May 2024.
